Every year a whole bunch of these National Parks offer FREE entry for a whole week – the ones which usually charge anyway, plenty of the other National Parks are free all of the time.
We should be proud of our National Parks, but that’s not all we should be, we should be visiting them too. Whether you’re a 20 mile hike kind of person who likes nothing more than to pack up your camping gear and set out into the wild unknown, or the type of person who prefers a stroll around a gentle path admiring the scenery and the spring flowers, there’s sure to be somewhere near to you which would suit you just fine.
National Parks are a great place to exercise without even knowing that you’re exercising. Why walk on a treadmill in a sweaty gym when you can breathe in all of that glorious fresh air and really go somewhere.
These boots were made for walking . . . so what are you waiting for?
Here’s a list of all of the National Parks who participate in a week of free entrance days every year, coming to a National Park near you . . .
