Acadia National Park is home to the tallest mountains to be found on the US Atlantic Coast – so that gives you some idea of just how rugged, diverse and yet beautiful the park is. A trip to Acadia National Park is yours to enjoy, whether you fancy hiking up the granite peaks, cycling along the historic carriage roads or just letting other people do all of the hard work while you sit back and enjoy the scenery.

From May through to October there are loads of programs led by the team of expert rangers – with many themes  including talking, walking, hiking (which is a bit more serious than walking), boating, with special programs for the kids too, it seems like they’ve thought of everything at Acadia National Park. Be prepared to get lots of weather too, (what does that mean, lots of weather – maybe I should say lots of different weather conditions – rain, snow, fog, sunshine – lots of those kinds of weather).

How does Acadia National Park look now? Here is the Acadia cam view.
