Dry Tortugas National Park is made up of seven islands west of Key West, formed by a mixture of coral reefs and sand . . . the Dry Tortugas. Sound a bit like paradise to you? Well, you’re certainly not wrong, this area is bursting with marine life and birds, add to the mix a few legendary pirates and tales of sunken treasure and you’ve got a beautiful national park which well deserves to be close to the top of your “bucket list”.
