Zion National Park is Utah’s first national park, and to really experience Zion National Park at it’s very best you have to walk through the towering cliffs and gaze up at the brilliant blue sky – it sure does make you feel pretty small! The wonderful range of sandstone cliffs are in a beautiful array of colors – cream, through to pink and all the way to red. They really do look like giant sand castles among the desert canyons.

Zion National Park has wide ranging temperatures – all on the same day a difference of 30 degrees is not unusual so don’t get caught out – dress in plenty of layers and be prepared for anything. The day time temperatures really can plummet in no time at all. All in all, Zion National Park is a glorious place to hike, camp, climb, ride your horse and just enjoy the wonders of the park.
