Little River Canyon National Preserve isn’t actually little at all, but you probably guessed that already. What makes the Little River Canyon unique is that, for most of it’s length it’s flowing atop Lookout Mountain. The Little River Canyon National Preserve offers the opportunity to enjoy many different recreational activities amid the waterfalls, canyon rims, boulders, pools, forested uplands and sandstone cliffs – it’s just a giant adventure playground.

Little River Canyon National Preserve is open to  hikers, horse back riders, 4 wheel drive vehicles and those who enjoy camping in the primitive style! If you have a hunting license you’ll be permitted to hunt too, on designated dates only – check out all details before you go.

How about that for a day out. I was watching the little girl get wetter and wetter, then she obviously couldn’t resist the temptation. This is exactly what summer days out are supposed to be like – wonderful.
