New Jersey Pinelands National Reserve is a very unique and special place, and certainly not your average national park (as if anything is average about national parks). Anyway, the New Jersey Pinelands National Reserve was the first in the country, and incorporates more than a million acres of farmlands, wetlands and forests. There are 56 communities contained within the National Reserve, and more than 700,000 residents. Told you it was a bit different!

So what can you do in New Jersey Pinelands National Reserve, apart from live and farm? Sightseeing is very popular right throughout the Reserve, as well as photography and bird watching – there’s always something interesting going on with our feathered friends. There are also plenty of places where you can enjoy other outdoor pursuits and adventures – hiking, horseback riding, fishing, boating, biking – you name it, you can probably do it in New Jersey Pinelands National Reserve.
