Western Arctic National Parklands

  • Where is it?: – Kotzebue, AK

Western Arctic National Parklands incorporates Kobuk Valley National Park, Noatak National Preserve and Cape Krusenstern National Monument, all situated pretty close to Kotzebue, Alaska, and the Bering Bridge. You might have guessed that it’s pretty cold up there, but there’s a lot more to see other than snow. There are mountains, valleys, sand dunes and woodlands, prepare to be amazed. This arctic wilderness is definitely worth a visit for anyone who is looking for a trip to somewhere “out of the ordinary”.  Enjoy . . .
