Wolf Trap National Park for the Performing Arts

  • Where is it?: – Vienna, VA

Wolf Trap National Park for the Performing Arts is a pretty unique place to visit, you see, it’s the only  national park which is dedicated to presenting performing arts. No matter whether you like opera, dark comedy or a touch of farce, there’s bound to be something to take your fancy appearing on stage at Wolf Trap National Park. From May through to September there’s so much to choose from – dance, musicals, jazz, country, opera, popular music. If you fancy visiting the park for the parks sake, then a visit between October and April is altogether much less crowded. You might also be able to join in on a ranger led backstage tour. (Apparently, when it snows, there’s a neat hill in the meadow area just perfect for sledding, just one more reason to visit this unique place).

Ooops, I think I forgot to tell you about the fireworks . . . Here they are in all their crackling and banging glory! I love fireworks, don’t you?

Keep up the good work. That’s some pretty amazing stuff.
